The Buying Process.
When you list your home with me, I'll help you through every step of the buying process.
| :: |
Getting mortgage pre-qualification and pre-approval. Pre-qualification is a general look at what you can afford, based on your income and debts. Pre-approval is a more formal process that guarantees your loan. An actual mortgage can only be formalized after your offer to buy a house has been accepted. |
| |
| :: |
Determining your wants and needs. What do you absolutely have to have in your new home? What would you like to have? What do you definitely not want? The better idea you have of what you want your dream home to be like, the easier it will be to narrow down your search. |
| |
| :: |
Identifying and visiting homes you're interested in. If you know exactly what you want, I'll look through new listings daily and work closely with other REALTORS® to help find your house - possibly even before it hits the market! If you aren't sure, I can give you a tour of any type of house on the market to help you decide what type of home will work best for you. |
| |
| :: |
Getting more detailed information about homes you're interested in. I can help you answer specific questions you may have about the schools, tax structure, and utilities available in the neighborhood. |
| |
| :: |
Negotiations. I'll help you develop an initial proposal, including an offer and the arrangement of appraisals, inspections, and financing, and help you with additional negotiations, if necessary, until a sales agreement is reached. |
| |
| :: |
Monitoring the process. Questions or unexpected issues may come up at any time during the home buying process. I'll get answers to your questions, and make recommendations about how issues can best be resolved. The home buying process can appear rather forbidding; I'm here to help take the mystery out of it for you. |
| |
| :: |
Closing. This is the settlement that finalizes the sale of your home. I can make the arrangements for this transaction and, with that, you are the proud owner of your dream home. |
|
The Buyer's Toolbox.
When we discuss your home search, I'll provide you with:
| :: |
a Home Buyer's Guide, containing information about mortgage pre-qualification and pre-approval, home features, and a home buyer's glossary; |
| |
| :: |
information about home listings and various real estate magazines, such as Real Estate Book, Home Search of the Roanoke Valley, and HOMESplus; |
| |
| :: |
information about title and home buyer's insurance; |
| |
| :: |
a list of vendors that may be helpful to you in preparing your home for sale and in moving; and, |
| |
| :: |
information about REALTOR® brokerage relationships, |
| |
| all at no obligation to you. |
